Since September 2007, we have reduced the classifieds ads expired date from 90 days to 60 days to improved the web performance. Database also has been find tuned to improve the performance. Hope it will have better user experience.

Sgadsonline.com is one year old now.
It started with a very simple idea of providing free classified ads service for Singaporean. It is serving that purposes and getting more and more users everyday.

SPAM is always a problem for the internet users. It is everywhere.
We have added a link (Report-To-Admin) at each ADs detail page to combating SPAM. We hope our users can report those SPAM ADs to us, so we can act on them asap. Let’s work together to build a safe place for all of us.

Recently, our US server is performing very badly, constently lost connection that causing user frastruction. On 10th December 2006, we moved the hosting from US to Singapore. We will keep on monitoring the performance…

Today, we have changed the forum to the marketplace forum, people can buy and sell their goods and services through the forum. So people can have the interaction between the forum members. This will help peope familiar with the forum and would like to get the feedback of their post to get the feedback and response immediately and discuss the product and service they are providing in detail. We have added the customized news section to provided latest news of singapore and around the world. Both english and chinese news being provided.
The news section will constent collect the news from the major news provider and categorize and organized to make it easy for people to view, so people can have the latest news update around the clock at one place without distract by so many ads pop up;)
We will add more classified news in and we would like to hear from the users what they like.

We have noticed there are some posting from other countries which promote the loan facilities. Only email address or other countries’ phone are on the posting. General, this classifieds portal will only accept the local posting and offers from other countries will be removed, this is to protect the users and the website.
